 Jim Weaver

Jim WeaverI have been an academic counselor with Penn State for a number of years. Having the opportunity to work at an institution with such a tremendous commitment to academic and athletic excellence makes my job very enjoyable. I find it especially rewarding to help PSU student-athletes grow and develop in and out of the classroom. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, coaching youth sports and attending athletic events.

Discussion is focused on goal setting, decision making, career planning, and transferable skills, and assisting student-athletes in recognizing how their athletic experience has helped them acquire numerous skills and qualities highly valued in the workplace.
