Penn Pal Program - Keeping in Touch

The "Penn" Pal Program enables student-athletes to correspond, on a monthly basis, with fourth-, fifth-, and sixth-grade students in local school districts. The student-athletes discuss such topics as the importance of school, goal setting, the benefits of staying involved.

Each year, student-athletes host a carnival and invite their "Penn" Pals to campus. The Carnival unites the students with their "Penn" Pals for a morning of experiential learning and fun! The Carnival assists the students by allowing them to practice communication, cooperation, and teamwork skills in a structured environment, with the assistance of some very influential role models.
