Helps students make decisions regarding major,
resumé and cover letter writing, obtaining related
work experiences, and gaining professional employment.
Eligibility and Compliance
Monitor and track eligibility and certification of student-athletes regarding Penn State, Big Ten Conference and NCAA requirements.

Enrichment
The goal of this program is to help students make
the transition from high school to college a successful one.

Support
The learning specialist can assist student-athletes in evaluating
how they learn and determine if learning different study strategies
would be beneficial.

to help student-athletes on their road to success by assisting in the
development of transferable study skills
Sport
Psychology
Provides counseling and support in mental
preparation strategies for training and competition, motivation
and goal setting, visualization and performance planning, concentration,
coping skill strategies for dealing with adversity, self-esteem
development and student-athlete welfare.
Study
Enhancement
Study enhancement sessions are mandatory for all
first-year student-athletes and are available to upperclassmen as well.
Math and writing tutors plus computer labs are available in each study
center to help students.
Tutor
Program
Designed to help students in various aspects of
their academic life, it is another great way for students to go the extra
mile to raise their course average.
Achievements
Honors and awards are presented annually to
those student-athletes who excel in the classroom, utilize their leadership
skills and promote community service.
